Is it Really an Ear Infection? Understanding Ear Pain, Pressure, Fluid & Dizziness in Adults

September 16, 2026 6:30 pm

Ear pain, pressure, dizziness, even “muffled” hearing can be symptoms of a number of conditions, some of which are not even related to the ear itself. Some conditions are minor and easily treated. Some are more serious and may require more extensive treatment, including surgery in some cases.

If you or a loved one is experiencing ear pain or pressure, dizziness or “muffled” hearing, you won’t want to miss this special event. You’ll have the opportunity to meet one of Western New York’s top otolaryngologists (Ear, Nose & Throat or ENT specialists), Dr. David Lafferty, who will speak about these conditions, their causes and treatment options. Uniquely qualified to do so, Dr. Lafferty has subspeciality fellowship training in otology – the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and complex ear conditions. He is one of the only otologists currently practicing in Western New York.

In this free online session, Dr. Lafferty will review a broad range of ear conditions and the latest treatment options available, including some surgical approaches. And of course, he will also answer your questions along the way.

This is an online video conference accessible through Zoom video conferencing.
