In order to reduce exposure to  poor air quality caused by the wildfires in Canada:

  • Shut your windows in the home and car and use AC
  • If your AC system has a self circulating option, use this setting to prevent the system from pulling in outdoor air.
  • Make sure your AC system has a clean filter and consider replacing the filter again once the air quality has improved.
  • Wearing a mask when outdoors for high risk individuals with breathing problems such as asthma, COPD, and pregnant women.
