Deviated Septum

A deviated septum is bend in the wall that separates the two sides of the nose. In some people this can cause nasal obstruction, facial pain, or sinus pressure. This condition can be treated with certain nasal sprays or with outpatient surgery to correct the deviation permanently. Nasal packing following surgery is rarely needed.
