About Dr. Stachiw

Dr. Natalka Stachiw joined WNY ENT in 2011. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and practices all aspects of general pediatric and adult otolaryngology, including sinus disease and sinus surgery.

Dr. Natalka is actively involved in the state and local medical and ENT communities, including her role as a clinical assistant professor for the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine, regularly teaching ENT residents, medical students, and physician assistant students.

Prior to becoming a surgeon, Dr. Natalka was an environmental chemist. She graduated magna cum laude, earning degrees in both chemistry and music. Outside of work, Dr. Natalka enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 stepsons, hiking, biking, kayaking, playing piano, singing in a women’s chorus, attending BPO concerts, traveling and staying active both indoors and out.

In Her Own Words

What would you consider to be your main strength as a physician?

My ability to diagnose the problem, educate the patient and get my patients on the path to healing!

What do you like most about being a physician?

I love taking care of patients and being able to make their lives better through diagnosis and treatment of what is causing them pain or stress.

What do you do for entertainment?

I love to read – anything. I enjoy traveling and staying active – we’ve been climbing the Adirondack High Peaks! One of my favorite things to do is to attend BPO symphony concerts.
